Hi there!

Having searched through old posts about tank cleaning techniques, the Python device came up quite a bit. I searched for this online and on eBay and wanted to know which parts are essential?? There seem to be so many parts to buy!!

So if anyone has this, which pieces should be purchased? Is a kit sufficient?

And also, any tips on how to actually use this?! I've been a learning newbie in the area of aquariums and this looks like rocket science to someone like me :D

Thanks a ton!

If I were you, I'd find someone that's selling the whole kit. Replacement parts can be purchased if needed, but I didn't even need to do that for about 4 years.

The Python comes with instructions. It does look complicated at first, but if I can figure it out (I'm such a girl) then anyone can.

I can say that even if you get it from a store for full price, it's well worth it. I don't know how I'd get along without it.

I think that was all I needed to hear haha. What size did you get? I see a long of different option for the length...

I'm going to go to the petstore between now and tomorrow to get one of these. They look heaven sent.

We got the 50ft as well. We bought it from a family owned pet store for $50. It works wonderfully.

All you have to do is hook it up to your sink, put the other end in the tank and turn on the water. It's super awesome.

i got the 25 foot. before you pick your size just measure the distance from the tank to the sink you will use. you will love the python.
