Habitat - Indoor :: what do you guys think of this?

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

any advice would be great help for me and my babies.

Honestly, I don't waste my money on expensive lamps. I have two clamp lamps, one for the UVA and one for the UVB bulb. I think that or something similar would be your most economical bet for meeting your turtle's needs.

OMG! Did I read that right??? $60-$80 for a hood lamp??!! You can get the exact same thing for $10 at home depot. And if you're worried about regulating your heat, all you have to do is find the right wattage light bulb and those are only like 50 cents a piece.

lol. thats one of many items that you can get a lot cheaper not shopping in typical pet stores

Holy crap, that's expensive. I just use two clamp lights, one for uvb and one for uva. The uva is closer to the dock then the uvb.

Wow, i had no idea i could use a regular bulb. I am going to check out home depot for hood lamps thanks alot for the info guys!
