Habitat - Indoor :: Moved and I can't remember which light goes where.

HI!

I have a red-eared slider (of course I do, if I didn't why would I be here). I am moving and I moved my turtle today, and I can't remember which light is which and where it is supposed to go. I have one light that is shaped like a normal lightbulb but it is blue, and another one that is like the new energy saver light bulb (the curly que kind). I was wondering which one do I put over the basking side?

the curly cue one is def the UVB lamp.

You should have a UVB and UVA bulb- both should be over the basking area. If you have a long tank you can always light the other end as well but it's extremely important that the basking area has the proper lighting.

Most uvb lights are so marked. Just because they are blue looking doesn't mean they are uvb. Good Luck! And yes, over the basking area!
