I finally upgraded slider to a 55 gallon tank. He has spent the last 2 yrs in a 30 gallon.
He seems dumb founded by the extra space :) but I think he likes it. I am so glad I finally got him upgraded.
2 - RES
-Slider 5.5" male
-Luckie 5"
1- eastern painted turtle - Anubis 5.25"
1- southern painted turtle - AmunRa 2.5"
1- northern dbt - Tiki 4"
1- concentric northern dbt - Isis 5"
2 - DSH cats Spike and Grim

So, is the other 55 you bought for the other turtle you just got?
Phryne - Japanese bobtail, 11 y.o.
Hurricane - RES, approx. 19 y.o., 7.00in. long
Typhoon - RES hybrid, approx. 19 y.o., 8 in. long
Sadie - RES, approx. 30+ y.o., 11.5in. long
Sophie - Colombian red tail boa, 15 y.o., 5 ft. long

No its for luickie who at the moment is only 1 3/4 inches. So at the moment he's in the 30 gallon and my new one Anubis is in a 10 gallon quarintine tank. And then I will ugraded the two little ones to the 55 gallon when the seperation time is over.
