Habitat - Indoor :: 50 vs 55

would a traditional 48x13x18 55gallon tank be better than a 36x18x18 50 gallon tank? i think those r the dimensions for the traditional 55. i think for a turtle the 50 would be better. any other opinions?

I think the one with the largest gallons would be best.

its 5 gallons larger. and i feel like with the traditional theturtle can only swim back and forth but ith the 50 the trutle has a little more options idk

Well, if you fill the 50 gallons a bit more then it'll prob compensate if you fill the 55 gallons a bit low.

i always build ATBA. but i was thinking about just building liek a concealed ATBA inside like a canopy for my next tank. but idk.

i would go with the 50, the added width to the tank will allow for more room.

The 50g is wider? I would say go with the 50. The 5g certainly isn't going to make a difference, and usually wider/shorter tanks are recommended over longer/skinnier tanks.
