craigslist really helps it is usually cheaper then the stores sometimes even for free!!
so far i have a 55 gallon tank for my 2 hatchlings it provides them lots of sapce to swim
as for the space issue i have the tank out in my back yard, i have heaters on so they wont get cold and in the morning and afternoon i turn it off and let them have some sun. leaving it in my backyard has worked great for me
