which tank is better a 25 gal that is tall or a 30 gal that is wide ? let me know as soon as u can i have both tanks all ready theyare my dads

go with the 30 gallon!!
more gallon,and wider for more space to swim.
25 gallon = tall to put hands inside or very high water lvl and less space to swim!

It's usually better to have a longer tank rather than a deeper tank. More space for swimming

k thanks dose it matter what kind of gravel or can i use sand ?

If you decide to use gravel make sure it's all larger than your turtle's head or he will eat it, which can lead to $$$ vet visits or death.

Sand will make your tank VERY hard to clean.

With the way these turtles poop, especially as they get bigger, having less on the bottom of the tank makes it soooo much easier to clean.

ok thank u how can u tell how old and if they are a boy or a girl they are still babys right now

It's hard to tell how old they are unless you actually saw them being hatched. For gender (boy or girl), you have to wait until they are at least 4 inches in shell length.
