Im sorry. i know that this topic has been posted like a million times but i cant find any of the topic. anywho, does anyone here know how to get an easy tank setup for under 100 dollars? im short on cash and need some ideas. i have no imagination so pis would be wonderfull. again, sry for copying but i must know. THX!
Two rubbermaids, a 50 gallon and a 30 gallon,
50 gallon - maybe 70% filled
30 gallon- use some type of substrate, maybe that turtle turf stuff?
then for a ramp up to the 30 gallon from the 50 gallon,you could use the tops that you get with the rubbermaids and cut them to desired length. And super glue turtle turf.
also you would have to get a "stepping stool for the 30 gallon to stand on. that is like $30 total. I am assuming you already have a filter and full spectrum lighting. i got this off of
Mrscratchtheres but i changed it up a little.
In all honesty you only need to get one rubbermaid container which ever size you need. You can get or make a basking area. You can research which filter will fit your needs and budget best. The only thing I worry about is attaching lamp because the clamps slide so you're going to have to figure out how to rig them.
