Congratulations! She's a beautiful, bouncing baby girl! Great job with her....she looks really healthy! Love that large tank too. I'm sure she loves all that extra room.
I didn't buy rocks for my tank, just found them lying around in parking lots & general landscaping areas. Generally, I like the super-hard quartz rocks since they don't fall apart in the water. Scrub them thoroughly & use bleach to kill bacteria, rinse well. I put about 8-10 rocks in Sheba's tank per peoples' suggestions on this board.....I guess some turtles like to "re-decorate" their tank by moving the rocks around or piling them up. You never know until you put them in. If you only have a few, they aren't going to accumulate that much dirt because the turtle will always be moving them. Keep in mind that my rocks are around 2" in diameter so not heavy if I have to take them out to clean them.
