CV Cream, I think the $400 covered the whole setup - tank, heater, filter etc. Also, I'll bet she's talking about Canadian dollars, which are smaller than American dollars, I believe. That would be a pretty nice setup at probably a reasonable price.

Yes, it was 400.00 for everything: 169. for the tank, 70.00 for the pump, 45. for the heater, then I bought Reptomin as per your posts on this site...and some various other things: rocks to build up my basking platform because it is so deep in there now....etc.
And yes, it's Canadian dollerettes, but these days that's only about 10% less, and there is 13% tax in that. But still....402.!!!

But boy are they happy!!! Now that I've read the rest of the "size" posts I believe they are "just right".

Anyone looking into a tank, you should all check www.craigslist.com, they have tanks for wicked cheap!

Two 4 inchers in a 110 gallon ,but they're male so I hope that it'll last for a long time. At least it beats the 10 gallon tank they were in when I got them w/ about 1 inch of water.
