hey guys i got a fitler extension kit and the tube it came with has little holes going up it on one side now i wus wondering if i could take black electrical tape and tape the tube up so it has no holes in it so it has more suction power at the end? would black electrical tape hurt the turtle or the aquarium???

It's probably not a good idea. The adhesive won't hold up underwater, and your turt will want to nibble on it.....

also, if the turtle eats it, it'll get stuck.

if i could get it to stick without it coming off tho if i wrap it really tight it should stick but if i see it start to come unravled at the end i would take it off because theres always someone in my house that checks up on him to see how hes doing everyday at all hours of the day but its worth a try because it could be losing suction power with those holes but its not like i wouldnt check it all the time to see how the tape is doin ya know if i keep a close eye on it everyday
