Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I have 2 red sliders one female and one male. I was told that they would never lay eggs or reproduce in captivity, but just read on the site that they can and will. I have a 120gallon tank for them. What can I do for a nesting area for Shelley?

I read that first which is where i found out that they will lay eggs. My problem is I'm not sure how to set up a nesting site for her. Can it be like a rubber maid container with sand and a separate light that I put her in a couple of time a day or is there a better setup. I am very dedicated to trying to make them as happy and healty as possible.
