I keep hearing about stock tanks. where exactly can you buy one? like im not sure i remember correctly but are there glass stock tanks or is it just like those rubbermaid ones. sorry for asking again

Stock tanks are designed to hold drinking water for animals on farms, like cows or horses. All the ones i have seen are either metal (not a good choice for a turtle) or rubber/plastic. Google "stock tank" and you'll find a bunch of places that sell them. If you have any farm supply stores such as Tractor Supply Company in your area you could go in person and check them out.
