Definitely not a bad price, that's why I jumped on it. I know that PetSmart sells a 50 gallon for almost $200 and thats acrylic not even glass! I'll let you know how the quality is when I pick it up on Sunday.

umm, acrylic is generally more expensive than glass.

You did get a really good deal on your tank, still. I wish I could swing the $$ for a couple of big tanks right now. They're going to be doing a delivery to a place about 90 minutes from where I live.

Just got back from picking up the 75 gallon from glasscages at the NY Reptile Expo in white plains, ny. I do have to say the quality of the tank is excellent and I am very happy with it. They were very helpful when I pre-ordered the tank. I give them an A+ on everything and will do business again.

Yeah I am waiting for the superpetz sale again because I love getting a 75 gallon for $75. We are also looking at the outdoor ponds but building a case to keep it inside.

I think it's a local pet store where they got a good deal on aquariums before.

The superpetz sale was like at the end of Feb. and there were selling certain sizes of aquariums for $1 a gallon...We got our 75 gallon tank for.....$75! Depending on where you go they're almost like $300-$400 bucks.

Hey, I just picked up a nice 90gal from some guy on craigslist.com for $75! It's 48" x 18" x 24". He was using it for saltwater fish and said it sprung a slow leak, so I'm going to clean it up real good and try to find out where the leak is so I can patch it with some silicone. It also came with a large under tank heat pad and a piece of drift wood.

I talked to the glasscages people and they said it's $120 for the tank and $30 for them to bring it with them to the Chicago area. The only problem now is trying to get a Saturday off work so we can go pick it up! That might be a huge problem actually so I think I'm just going to have to continue to search craigslist until I find a 75 gallon tank. Thanks for all the replies! You guys are really helpful!

If your going to a reptile show and that's where their going to be make sure you get there early. The show I went to was from 10am to 4pm, I got there at 12pm and glasscages told me I had to get my tank by 1:30pm because they were leaving at 2pm. That only left me an hour and a half of walking around the expo(never enough time).
