Habitat - Indoor :: new tank!

I just bought a 55 gallon glass tank off Ebay. It comes with a stand, filter, heater, air pump, decorations, and an ocean background. He'll even deliver it here for the cost of gas. All said and done, it cost $150. Not too shabby! This guy has great feedback, so I hope I made the right choice. I'll post pics once it's all set up!

I have been surfing craigslist and ebay for aquariums in my area for several weeks now. I gave up on craigslist because, unless you can come pick it up right away, you are just out of luck. I don't have that kind of free time! Every aquarium I saw on Ebay was bid only - until this morning. This guy actually put a buyout price on his auction so I snatched it. I just don't have time to keep up with bidding wars or compete with people who have trucks and extra people around willing to help move large aquariums at the drop of a hat. But I also can't afford a whole brand new setup! I got lucky and I know it. All I can say is be patient and you'll find a good deal. I'm glad I kept looking.

I found mine on Craiglist. had to wait a few weeks. Got a great deal on a 135gal with tons of extras.
