::sigh:: im updating cuz i havnt been on this site for a while. just recently(talkin last week) i had the lining of my pond cleaned. it looked great and i was excited.(i didnt do this cleaning of the liner myself cuz i didnt wanna risk being a liability while work was still being done to the pond.) and so i came home from school and checked the lining and it was spotless. no cement power, residue, dust, nothing. the people who work on my pond went ahead and started filling up the pond. few hunder gallons later, i notice that outside of the pond started leaking water. so now im just like oh &%*(&)*&^ this is just perfect. i go and pump the water out of the pond and dry the lining up to which i eventually found a little tear/cut in the lining on the pond floor. i got my pops to call the guys back to patch up the pond after the weekend. TODAY as in Monday, April 9th, i come home from school expecting the pond to be all good and peachy. the guy who worked on my pond shows up and starts filling my pond up. i was happy to find that no leaks had happened until a while later when the water level was higher than it has ever been. you guessed it, the pond started leaking again, but this time at a faster rate. guess what, i pumped the water back out. the leaking stopped after the water was only pumped out half way. so now my guess/conclusion is that there is another cut/tear in the lining along the wall of this special pond of mine. so hopefully tomorro, the dudes will come and find this new cut/tear in my lining. im kinda getting frustrated on all this since my hopes keep being shattered. but other than that, if they do find the new leak spot, my goal is to get this pond up and running by this weekend if not the end of this week. i need to buy another pump for my 2 pond filters, as well as a pond heater and water conditioner,larger river rocks/pebbles to cover my pond floor. and some pond plants to make it nice and natural like. this pond is my turtles(i have 2 turtles for those who dont know)biggest and last home upgrade. 400+ gallons will let them live happily for as long as they live.
