Habitat - Indoor :: I just need your opinion...

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Hey Tenodera, I live in a tiny little apartment with my mom and my brother. Granted I do have my own bedroom but basically my mom says that if I'm willing to buy it that I can have it. There are some really neat tank stands out there that seem to be meant for apartment living. I saw one that had the tank sitting on a bottom "shelf" and on top being an entertainment center so you could put a tv on it and such. Just a thought!

Ha, i'm 21 and i dont think i act like my age,well sometimes..sometimes not..everyone is different.

Anyway, in my case.We are moving to an apartment in Cali..(i'd use it more, because of school). So, it would save the ride/sleep and time of going back and forth to mex and viceversa..So i thought of brining my turtles with me.Although i dont know how big the apartment is and my dad told me as in most apartments they dont allow pets..I dont know if turtles fit in that category..We will see, at least they would become my problem now.

I honestly dont think it counts for turtles. Just furry animals that poop everywhere. Your parents dont like your turtles that much huh? :?

Well atleast your 21, they cant make you get rid of them.

I missed a typo there sorry man lol.
Well he cares since he likes animals too and hes the one who got me my first turtle, but as in in the turtle needs.Like in the tank,i want a bigger one now,but he thinks they are fine in the 10 gallon tank(i wish i never bought that tank now and should have gotten the rubbermaid instead). Bottom line is they believe i annoy them too much when i tell them what i need for them since it involves money spent, but in the future it could turn out nicely for both the family and the turtles, since my dogs dont have a lot of lifespan left either.

Cool, then i guess i could keep one turtle in the apartment and the other one at home.i'd also have to know about border inspection issues.Hope it works out though.
