When I first put them in there...They were freaked out and stayed swimming in the same amount of space they had in the 20 gal...After the night I woke up to find them happily swimming and basking all day. I got the biggest floating turtle dock petco sells. When they become adults I may have to buy another.
Let me know what you think. They are so fun to watch. My husband says the tank looks lame cause there are just 2 tiny turtles in there swimming around. I said well they need that much space and I think they look fine. We should probably get some fake plants and silicone them to something heavy so they don't float away after the turts play with them. We were thinking of adding a few swordtails too though, just for looks. Something fast and skinny that they can't catch to eat. I don't know why but they won't eat their little goldfish friend that is in their with them...I know he is fatty but I have had him forever before I knew that and I didn't have anywhere else to put him.
