I think one 2 foot light would be OK. It depends on how you have your basking area positioned I suppose.
I've just got one 5.0 CFL over my basking areas, which is probably about equivalent, or even a bit less than a 2ft tube.

If you want to see the turtles in the tank then get another light (not necessarily uvb) but the uvb-uva rays are important only over the basking area as bulldog said.

See, my turtles were a gift from someone else. I have no choice but to keep them together. I don't trust anyone else to take care of them, either.

Right now, your tank is overcrowded. They are big enough where they could use a 40 or 50 gallon. The more space they have, believe it or not, the less aggression you will see. If it gets bad though, you will have to separate them.

Ok cool, the 4x2x2 should be great for the 2, they should love it.

Im buying everything now bit by bit, like heater, filter, light etc.

And in about 2weeks ill have the actual tank.

I know this has nothing to do with it, but with feeding, i have been feeding them pellets everyday, and putting cuttlebone in there every 2nd day.

Is it ok to put alot of cuttlebone in there? They eat it whenever its in there.

And with the pellets i only put what would fit in their head if it were hollow, and make sure that they only get that. (No matter how much they swim against the glass and beg!) lol.

I don't think you can over do it with cuttlebone. But a chunk every second day sounds about right. That's about how often I put it in for my adults, although sometimes I forget, or sometimes they have a piece left from last time.
