hey, that's the kind of back country driving I used to do with my Pop up in the high deserts of So Cal. Nice looking tortise, it's great seeing them in their natural environment.

I havent camped much in SoCal, but I have spent ALOT of time in a pop-up. Me being an Az. desert native & spending ALL my free time Camping, Hiking, Fishing & Jeep Rock Crawling, This is ONLY the second tortise I have ever seen in its "Natural Enviroment".

Your setup pics remind me of me when I had three babies dropped on me (a "gift" from my notorious niece), and had to scramble around to throw something together for them. Comparied to what I started with, you're setup looks great....
