I keep hornwort in my tank and Brooks doesn't like to eat it so it multiplies and looks really nice! I'll have to post some pics later!

Here's my "cool tank". It's a 40gal breeder and a 90gal tank connected together by a common above tank basking area. There's also a live planted section under the ramp in the 40gal. Here's a link to the original build thread...http://www.redearslider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10180&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Hey david, how are your guys liking that setup? I'm seriously thinking of copying your design, only using two 90 gal tanks...are they favoring one tank over the other, or do they move back and forth?

They've been loving the new 90gal and all the extra swimming and basking space! :) I've seen all 3 of them going back and forth at different times but Pilot, the big female, is in the 40gal the most while the two males tend to prefer the 90gal more. But they all go in both tanks. I have yet to see all 3 in the 40gal at the same time though. :D I really enjoy sitting down there and watching them now even more. The only thing I would do differently is move the 90gal out so that the basking area would be suspended over empty space. That way I could see the entire length of both tanks.

I think this is just a great design, if only to give the turts the option to go somewhere to be alone. I bet if I had this design, I could probably still keep Big Daddy with the two girls.......
