That's using a shower caddie from the store, they make lots of sizes. Not exactly homemade per se, but an idea!

They are actually those glass drops, they came from Walmart, but they are shaped like U's and are large enough that he knows not to try to eat them. He's been digging around through them for the last four months and no damage to them, so I figure they're pretty safe.
