so i'm wondering if my res henry could live with a crab(to clean up)

I don't know the answer to that.... but silently to myself I'd make funny little puns about you having crabs. :)

HAHA hope you are having a great THURSDAY!!!!

I also hope that some one with much more valuable information than me reads your post and helps you.

Happy Crabs buddy!

Crabs aren't recommended (or crayfish, etc.). Don't forget anything in your tank may be considered food by your turtle. The problem with crabs is that they can fight back! You don't want your turt getting injured.
I think your safest bet for "cleanup" are feeder fish, like minnows. They're cheap, and safe for your turt to eat.

Sadness.
I've always wanted a blue crayfish( http://aqua-terra-vita.com/CrayfishWP/Care.html) for my tank. I wonder if you got one small enough so it wouldn't hurt the turtles. I know my turtles wouldn't bother one-they're too lazy. I think the turtles would win anyway. They've got some powerful jaws.
