so i made a cave for henry out of a plastic box. i want to paint it so its more like a real cave...what kind of paint should i look for?
also. i have a fulval 4 right now i put it in the middle of the tank on the back wall, should i move it to the short side? and should i get the carbon inserts?
How large is your tank? That will really determine how efficiently your filter works as opposed to the pads you choose for it.
As for the paint, I'm not sure. It would have to be non-toxic and not water soluble, but I think you're going to have a hard time finding something that fits that description and that will adhere to plastic.
2 RES: Leo (f) and Ezra (m)
1 Russian Tortoise: Godzilla (m)
another thing to add, any paint you use will have to have a week or 2 to dry so that there is no fumes. But even then, I wouldn't want to put anything I painted in with my turtle..
Cool Idea! Yeah, aquarium silicone would be great with little rocks stuck to it. Yes, It would take a while, But the after effect would definitely be worth it I think.
