Habitat - Indoor :: Hard water?

I have been testing the water in all the tanks in my house one thing I have noticed is it seems I have very hard water! Could this be contributing to the greyish look to Sylars shell when he's dry? Is this dangerous to my turt? Nothing else seems out of wack, I use Reptisafe conditioner and my chlorine levels are fine.

According to my testing kit, hardness is a measure of the amount of calcium and magnesium in the water and it effects the balance of a fish's system. Too much can cause mineral deposits.

I don't know if it's detrimental to their health or not. Until someone else comments further, I don't think it's anything to worry too much about.

Hard water isn't really dangerous to turtles. It can cause mineral buildup which could lead to a dull look on the shell. It can also buildup on the edges of the tank, that can be removed by scrubbing or using a razor blade (but only on glass tanks, acrylic is too soft).

Sounds like mineral deposits on your turtle's shell. Not very attractive, but they won't harm him.
