Habitat - Indoor :: Tank Size

I was wonder if a 110g tank is way to big for my 3.5" turtle.
Will my turtle every need that much space?
should i go for a smaller size or is 110g good?

Get the biggest one you can afford. If you get one that size you probably wont have to buy another tank ever. I am guessing you are looking at a stock tank?

u'r turtle WILL need that much space when it's full grown and it doesn't hurt it to have the extra room now. the guideline is 10 gallons per inch of shell and females can get up to 12". Example: My male is around 9" full grown. (which would mean he requires at least a 90 gallon tank.

I say if you can afford it now go for the 110 gal!
Saves you buying multiple setups as he grows, and he'll just love all that space!

I know, when i first got Boog i thought it was going to be easy taking care of her. But soon i found out it takes so much time and attention. It's like having a dog!

Totally! I completely agree. I also didn't really imagine a TURTLE having such a personality and I QUICKLY found out they have lots of it...lol!
