Hello all, just found this site and I really enjoy the information and experiences of everyone. I just purchased a 75 gallon tank from a 30 gallon, but now I've been searching for a stand. I was navigating through big al's (after many speaking highly of it here), and noticed a stand built by big als called the stingray:

It is only $130, but I'm a little confused about the seemingly inconsistent price and the product title. It says "Big Al's Stingray Stand-48 x 18 Red Mahogany," which suggests a solid wood stand, but yet its price range is that of a particle/fiberboard stand. I was disappointed with the product description and perhaps the "Red Mahogany" describes the color and not the construction material. I will e-mail them after this, but I wanted to get everyone's opinion on this. It just seems too cheap for a solid wood stand...

Does anyone have a link to a relatively cheap wooden stand (Black hopefully)?

*EDIT: By the way, I'm not willing to build my own Even though its cheaper :)
Thank you in advance!

Let me save you some trouble. I looked at a stand identical to that for my 55 gallon tank and it was crap. I doubt it could support a tank let alone a full tank. 75 gallons isn't something you want to fool around with, I'd either look into investing in a solid stand or having someone build you one if you're not comfortable building one yourself. If it's the aestetics you're worried about with some extra time and money I don't see why you can't replicate one of the solid wood stands for a fraction of the cost.
