Habitat - Indoor :: Basking area, help

I'm making another basking area for my second turtle but i want to make it with porceline Tile and some kind of brackets to hang the tile from the aquarium rim
I was wondering if drilling wholes in the tile would make it crack
and if it does crack the tile is there a glue that is made safe for aquariums that would stick metal to porcelin
I saw that one person on here glued pvc pipe to a tile to make his basking area just wondered what kind of glue would be good to do something like that.
Any suggestions would help
Just looking to make a strong cheap basking area by using a tile since it looks so great

Drilling into tile can be done, but it won't be easy to do it without cracking it. Your best bet would be to use aquarium silicone to glue the tile onto the support.

drill it under water it'll be easier, and i would use aquarium silicone its sold at pet stors
