Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Post Posted: Sat Aug 09, 2008 3:29 pm   bubblers!

i got one of those bubblers for my turtles and it's so funny to see
them explore it. squirtle was trying to eat it and blastoise would just go
and stall over it and let the bubbles float him to the top.

lol..

anyone have any good bubbler stories x]

cujo tries to eat them and just stops ontop of them. you could put an airline suction cup on the airline to hold it down

I have a really cool gargoyle one where the bubbles come up from under his wings and it looks like he is flying, but Izzy prefers the bubble wand that has the 'wall' of bubbles.

She likes to slide off of her dock into the bubble stream and float up. It is too cute.

They also make those ornaments that have built in airstones. Some of them are heavy and would be harder to move around.

We had the same thing but Mikey broke one of the wings off. He prefers the air stones that provide a constant stream of bubbles. He has two round air stones and one long one.

I've had suction cups along the air tubes to keep the air stone on the bottom of the tank, but Mikey pulls them off, I don't know what to do for right now.

I LOVE that gargoyle! Izzy couldn't have cared less for it. He is just decoration now.

I do like being able to bury the tubes and stuff under the sand, now. Izzy would always mess with the suction cups, too.
