Habitat - Indoor :: Hiding area

What would be a good thing for my turtle to hide in or under if its 6".

Half logs, pvc pipe, you could make something, take a flower pot and break it in half.

I have a Zoo Med Turtle Hut that my turtle loves and he is 5" and fits in it comfortably. Not sure if that would work for your turtle. You can get them at PetCo or PetSmart and they look like half of a log.

I use an R Zilla Corner Basking platform. My Squirt is 6" and backs right in when he needs a break from the rest of the world. I turned the platform so that the wide part was facing the middle of the tank and then leveled off the top with rocks. It gave Squirt a lot more room inside. Here's a pic of what it looks like:

Just make sure whatever you use is big enough for your turtle to not get stuck in it. You don't want him to get caught and drown.

i have the third one down from the top, and my turtle oves hiding underneath it....got it at petco.

ohhh, those babys look so cute! thsoe are sorta the size of mine, and i lvoe that basknig rock thing, ima buy one:)
