Habitat - Indoor :: Suction Cup Soap Dish seems too small..

I was taking the advice I got here and instead of using cork bark as an underwater dock for my new tank since it's floaty I was going to use one of those suction cup soap dishes. The thing to me is..they just seem way to small for my Koopa I was trying to find a corner shower shelf, one with suction cups, that I can use instead. I wanted to make sure it was plastic or acrylic..not metal or anything..and I'm just trying to make sure I find one thats completely safe. I think whatever I get I would have to turn it upside down because everything has a lip on it...so far the best thing I found was this:

But I didn't know if the holes in it would cause a problem..or if it was bumpy if it would irritate her belly (plastron?).

But I don't think the material is meant to be continuously underwater or that it's the best thing for her to be laying and sleeping on.

i was looking at the soap dishes and thought they were small too. ive been looking for something like that. i think it would be fine.

I do too, but I want experienced advice before I make any decisions I haven't read about elsewhere first

I wouldn't use the wire one. I'd be afraid of limbs getting caught or nails getting ripped off.

Could you use a reptile hammock? Like this:

I was gonna buy one just to try it...but Koopa is very hesitant of things that aren't completely straight ^^;; She'll knock her current basking dock off bit just a little bit and won't go on it again for a day or two if I don't notice and fix it right away. I feel bad >.> (She can get very very into eating and chasing her lettuce, and I intend to get something she can't budge all the time.) So I wasn't sure if she would even go on it..

And yea I definitely didn't want the kind like the second one, just showing an example of what I wasn't looking for >.>

I have one in my tank that is similar to the first link you posted and it works great, Toby loves it. The holes in it don't cause a problem with my turtle. And also I like the lips on it because I place food on it occasionally (mostly fruits that sink to the bottom of the tank otherwise). The one I have actually didn't come with suction cups, I modified it myself with the suction cups from my old basking dock and extra suction cups that I had. I can take a picture and show you if you want.

doesnt the reptile hammock have small holes in it? i would be worried that the claws could get in them

Does it have to be big enough for the entire turtle? Mine seems to pull himself up on the edge with only his head sticking out. He rarely climbs all of the way out of the water to sleep. So maybe he just needs something to prop himself up on.

Reptile hammocks are like nets, but the holes are really small. I've mainly seen them in use with bearded dragons and they don't have issues with them. So I don't think a turtle would.

They have larger versions of the soap dishes... might be called a shower organizer or something. I've never used either though.
