I know this is covered in many stickys...but my tank is not nice like most that are covered....here is a pic of the way I have it placed..The larger lamp is the UVB one...Thanks

I think it's fine. Can you raise the water level up?

I can...is that a good idea?? I was worried they would burn if they got closer..I have a screen on top though

I was told that having a uvb light closer then 10" can cause eye irratation

it is a pretty good possibility. the eyes will swell up and get red. if that does happen i have heard zoo med turtle eye drops work and you will need to move the uvb light back
