when you say silica sand this is the same stuff you use for block paving am i right? the kiln dried stuff.

ah i use that at work all the time. think ill aquire a bag or two. mind you its only £2.20 a bag at the local builders yard. for a 20kg.

whats your views on using this in an atba???

it looks really nice because it doesnt go to much darker when its wet...will post pics when a have it all together

Unless you plan on using silicon or hot glue, and glueing it all down, I wouldn't recommend it. If you don't its always going to be getting kicked off the dock, and any particles that float down could possibly be sucked up if they come near the intake on the fall.

but like I said, if you glued it down, it would work nicely.

hmm maybe i can think of a way to glue it down. what if i used nontoxic pva adhesive and stirred it up so i can mould it. then before it dries sprinkle some more over the top to make a nice finish
