Hi, i have a 100 gallon tank with no substrate in it and am housing my 6" RES. I think she might be gravid, but I have no substrate anywhere in the tank. What can I do when it comes to her laying her eggs,

You could buy sand form home depot(50lbs. for $4.00) and fill a rubber maid storage bin, fill it with depth about the turtle's shell lenght.
In your case 6" deep and also make sure its a little wet

got to B&Q and buy a 20kg bag of childrens play sand. they cost £3.50. also argos sell it and wilkinsons. if that isn't possible buy a bag of kiln dried sand used for bllock paving but be sure to wash it first.

sorry its £3.78 a bag and heres the link
