When i change the water after some hours there is foam on the water like i have dropped accidentaly soap in the water. I even cleaned the tank and filter in case this extremely unlikely scenario had happened but i still i have the problem. There is foam building around the basking platform and around the glasses of the tank mainly where the water is falling from the outake of the filter. what it can be and how i can get rid of it?

Did you change media as well? And if you did, did your rinse it beforehand?

I've seen bubbles form similar to what you've described, but they eventually went away.

How long have you had the media in the filter? If you're using any carbon or microfiltration pads, depending on how long they've been in there, it would be good to change them (and rinse them before putting them into the filter). Biomedia should be rinsed in "clean" tankwater.

I have eheim 7504 , the media i have were with the box. They are some kind of blue plastic filter and a thin white made from cloth. I haven't replaced any of those but i wash them with aquarium water every 2 months. I have thrown away the carbon filter part after a use of some weeks as the instructions say.
