Yes that would be fine for your tank. Most if not all play sand's are aquarium safe. The fact that it says "No bacteria" on the website is reassuring in its safety for the aquarium as well.

Most people that use play sand in an aquarium get it from Home Depot. The brand is Target and you can find it in the building materials section.

Just go to the store. Every Home Depot I've ever been to carries the Target play sand. In fact, it's the only play sand they have. I've never seen anything else there.

FYI, I only use pool filter sand (also by Target) as the bag of play sand I tried was so dirty that after 30 minutes of rinsing the first bucket full it was still dirty.

I use play sand from home depot it was a 50lb bag for 5 dollars each. quite a deal

make sure you clean it before you put the sand in the tank

to clean the sand correctly and efficiently you should put the sand in a bucket, put a hose in the bucket and just leave it running until you can literally see the sand in the bucket. this should actually reduce the initial cloudiness in the tank after you put in the sand

for exact instruction search it, member ChrisBarnett made it
