i bought a new water heater tonight. in the directions, it says to wait 24 hrs for the temp to get to desired level before putting in turtles. Why is this ? What am i supposed to do with the turtles for that long ?? HELP
Don't worry about that. Just take out some water and put in hot to equalize the temp to about 75-78F. Then just plug in the heater and it'll take over.
