i have a question about euro braced acrylic tanks. how do i work my filter into it? i'm picking up the tank this weekend and have no clue how to set it up. the tank is 72x18x24 (135g) and it's replacing the 55g so needless to say i'm really excited about the upgrade just not sure how to run my hoses. can i drill thru the bracing without weakening the tank? or do i run them differently? i have an xp3 now and will be adding another, either xp3 or 4. thanks a lot for any suggestions.

also where can i order the magnetic dock thing at? the corner one?

If the euro bracing isn't already drilled on top for filter hoses, you can easily drill your own holes. As long as you don't put too many holes in it or make the holes too big it won't affect the structural integrity of the tank. My 35G acrylic hex had a big slot cut out on the back of the bracing to accommodate a big HOB filter as well as a couple of holes for filter hoses.

i am glad to hear that, and thanks for your response on the other thread. depending on where the original holes are i am hoping to use what i have for a bit until i can either a) get another filter to help out, or b) get an fx5 or do a sump. getting the tank for free helps make setting it up a bit easier on my pocket.
