Hi! i'm new here and still thinking on how to put up a floating basking dock for a 10 gal tank. I live in the Philippines and i think our local petshops here don't carry commercial docks such as zoomed, etc. Also, i dont want to put up an above tank setup for i will upgrade my tank eventually.

I am thinking of a suction cup idea with a plastic egg crates or under gravel filter pad and still thinking on how to attach the pad to the cups.

anymore ideas guys? thank you!

Can you find any cork bark? All you would need to do is find a large enough piece, trim it and clean it.

You could get one of those fairly small, cheap, plastic storage tubs. Just lay it on it's side, on the top of the tank, and anchor it by like tying or taping it down with duct tape. (I know duct tape is unattractive, but it serves it's purpose). You can attach maybe an egg crate, or anything fairly curved that will give enough traction for your turtle to climb into the basking area. You will probably have to cut off one side, too, so you can mount the UV and heat lamps.

This is what I'd do, at least.

Edit: Also, this site sells turtle ramps: http://www.petdiscounters.com I don't know if they ship to your country or not... But it's worth looking.
