Habitat - Indoor :: Can I use a stress coat for my turtle's tank?

I have this stress coat called "Stress Zyme" that was used when we had fish and I read the bottle and it seems like I can use it for my aquarium but I want to make sure I can use it... Has anyone else used it?

Some have used it... generally most products that are aquarium safe are OK to use, however, I usually like to avoid adding any sort of chemical into the tank.

If it says aquarium safe, then, I'd trust it. Make sure you follow the directions exactly as they say, because too little will do nothing, and to much might do harm.

I don't use water conditioners, but stress zyme improves the development of the biological filter and helps clean a dirty aquarium. Contains over 300 million live bacteria per teaspoonful. Breaks down organic compounds that cause dangerous conditions such as ammonia and nitrite poisoning and low oxygen levels.

Doesn't sound like its really worth it since a well established filter will do ALL of that.

Also, not using a water conditioner will be dangerous if your water contains chlorine/chloramine. These would kill the bacteria that break down the ammonia and nitrates.
