i purchased a submersible heater today called top fin 200 watt submersible aquarium heater which looks like this:

to be honest, i don't know if it's creating enough heat. can anyone recommend me a good submersible heater?

A 200 watt for what size tank?
There's a knob on the top you can adjust to increase the amount of heat it gives...Try that

What is the temperature of the water? That's the only way you can know for sure if it's providing enough heat.

Get a thermometer and check the temp against what the heater is set for.

i went out and bought another submersible heater. it's a visi therm stealth heater. thanks for the help anyway
