how hard is pond liner to use? I am working on an indoor pond for wintering my critters. I am planning an L shaped pond 36" tall water depth about 28". One leg will be about 5' long and 2' wide, with the basking area on the end with the filter, pumps etc... underneath, I'm thinking the water portion will be 3 1/2 to 4' long. Have to decide what filter dimensions are to verify (filter recommendation?). The other leg will be about 2' out from the edge of the long leg, so a total of 4'. I'm guessing it will be about 185 gallons. I thought about building a sturdy box and lining it with thin plexiglass, but all the aquarium silicone I can find says it doesn't work on plexiglass, and regular glass would be to expensive and probably to heavy. So, I'm thinking about a pond liner, but I've seen posts on here and it looks like rectangles are hard enough to make smooth.
So, If anybody has any advice on sealing plexiglass or pond liner fitting, I'm interested in hearing it.
