Habitat - Indoor :: Newbie around here and have questions...

Not new to my Red Eared Slider but recently purchased some of those pest control plug in repellers.... It says that you shouldn't use them around pet mice, pet rats, pet hamsters, ect... How about our RES? Does anyone know if it will affect them?

You know i have one of those and never thought about that but my guys seem fine and not bothered by it. Res hearing isnt as good as other animals so i dont think they even hear it.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will plug 2-3 in and see if she continues to go into those rooms.. We let her free in the house when we are home... (daily and often)... And Painteds4life, your turtle is beautiful.

tot-it The electronic repellers emit a high frequency for insects and should not bother the turtles as they are under water most of the time. Plug it in when they are basking and see what their reaction is. I expect nothing, however they are sensitive to sound and vibrations. m.

Either an image program or your image host should have the tools to resize a picture. Were you using photobucket?
