Well everyone says its easy to do and all i gotta say for my first attempt is i will never try it again. I would rather buy that turtle dock for $50 That was so hard and I made alot of mistakes :-\ The ramp thing went so wrong. I broke the end of wood off, cant see it in the pic. Lol also now i have to have a filter hose running right through it lol.

I got to get some chicken wire or somthing to put over it and get a new uv light cause a 20gallon one is to big now, think im gonna go with compact now for the first time.

I didnt paint or stain it like everyone else does. Im not one for looks.

Looks great to me.....Good work.
May i make a suggestion?
I've ran into your same issue of the hose when i built my canopy.Instead of making it go up and over, just can make a notch about 1" wide at the bottom of the basking area so you can place the hose and put the basking area on top of it without it disturbing anything. Take it or leave it. Looks good either way.
