I've always thought of buying a 501 Canister Filter and wondered is it really all the good? and how would I be able to clean out the pipes?

Is that the zoo med turtle filter? It's not considered to be a good filter but tubes can be cleaned by various means or simply replaced.

Yes it is, I just bought it recently its very good I can barely hear it besides the water splashing and thanks ok

the filter might be good if you have a 10 gallon tank...and thats a BIG might. i was very displeased with it and ultimately got a fluval 405
