Habitat - Indoor :: Sulcata vs Russian

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Ok, so I have a little sulcata in my care. I am "rescuing" so to speak. My friend had him in bad shape and figured he'd do better in my care since I probably have more experience than her (though I've never owned a tortoise or turtle). Anyway, I'm not much of a turtle person in the sense that I have mainly lizards. However, I was surrounded by turtles my entire life though, thanks to my father. But now, I am thinking of getting a russian tortoise for myself. I wouldn't dream of keeping a sulcata, as I don't have the space. I am building an indoor enclosure. My father is helping me but at the moment he is away for a few weeks and I wanted to get opinions from you guys. I'm thinking of adding a uvb since the enclosure is indoors. Whats your opinion on using uvb for a Russian and an indoor enclosure? I dont have as much time as I'd like to take my russian out so I might consider using the uvb I have on the sulcata rescue's indoor enclosure:

They work great on the sulcata, Barney. He's pretty healthy and I've also used these on other critters of mine. What do you think, should I give it a go?

Not sure about that brand, but you will need UVB. Reptisun tubes are supposed to be good, would you consider a MVB?
