Hey!

I got my new tank for my RES!! :D
Tank size is 127x50x64, 400L + 900L\H Filter
Lights: 1x T8 40W 120CM Exo-Terra Repti Glo 10.0 UVA/B
1x T8 40W 120CM Red light
1x T8 40W 120CM Day light
+ Clip Light: Heat
+ Clip Light: Night Blub by Exo Terra 75W

Basking Area: Zoomed's Turtle Dock - Large (50X25)
Plus: 2 Fans, to dry out the glass at night when it gets too cold on the dry section

Now I'm at the design&decoration part.... I'm kindda dont know what to choose....
I would like to put "sandy" gravel, is it safe for the turtle?
I know it's hard to clean, for that I got the EHEIM ELECTRICAL GRAVEL CLEANER, so clean it is not the problem.
I like sand-style gravel more than the pebbels.... but if I can't use sandy gravel, can smaal pebbels would be fine? I don't like that much those big rocks style....

I'll also buy some trunks and try to make a DIY 3D background.

Ready to hear your tips, advice and everything.....
Turtie :P

Hey, you should read this sticky about sand - http://www.redearslider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17268
I have a barebottom, but a lot of people use sand for their tanks.

Do not put pebbles in your turtle tank. Your turtle will eat them, the pebbles will get stuck inside and your turtle can die. The sticky for gravel is here: http://www.redearslider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12532

Happy decorating!
