OSB wood will rot and degrade if in contact with water. You might be able to use it if you are making an ATBA (above tank basking area), but you will need something for the ramp. Those are usually made of acrylic, cork bark or egg crate. How big is your tank and turtle?

It would leach almost immediately. PVC/tile also works great and will last forever.

You should separate them as there's also a chance the filter effect the amount of medication you need to use.

Since you add medication to the water, how much water you have might determine the amount of medication required.

Momentarily i have quarantined the fish with a water heater and an air pump should i put anything else? I rasies the temp to 31 degrees Celsius.
Also i wanted to ask you in the aquarium where the fish got ich i had some driftwood and some plastic plants how to sterilize them or how do i clean them so they do not act as a host for the bacteria?

Where did you get the driftwood from? You can lightly disinfect things by soaking them in a bleach solution. So in a separate container, use a a weak solution of 2 oz bleach to a gallon of water. Then rinse thoroughly. However, I've only had to soak it in water for about 24 hours before use.

You should be able to disinfect them all. Just make sure you rinse it very well before placing it back into the tank. I'd wait a day or two after the rinse, just to make sure.

So i should just prepar the water with bleach soak them for a min or two and than then rinse them for 24 and wait another 48 before placing them in the tank?
