wich under watter heatter is best for a 30 gal tank because at wally world they have one for a 10 to 30 gal heatter or should i go with the one that is ment for the 30 to 60 gal tank thell me wich one is better thanks

As long as the smaller one keeps the temperature constant, it's fine. If you find it's always running, you might want to get a bigger one.

That being said - it might be better to go with the bigger one so you don't need to buy another one when you eventually upgrade your tank...

go with the 30-60 gallon heater. The 10-30 gallon heater is primarily for tanks that are 10-25 or so gallons. 30 gallons being the max that the heater could go. and if you have that heater at max to warm up 30 gallons, you will be working the heater too hard and it will eventually blow out. getting the 30-60 gallon heater is less workload on the heater to warm up a 30 gallon tank since 30 gallon is the minimum of the heaters capability.
