Picked up new tank and stand to replace the 25 gallon home the boys have now. What do you think? This is the old one.
Which filter should I go with?

XP3 or XP4 i'd say. Maybe a Fluval 404? You can do the pricematch on the XP4 though, and it comes with 20 stars already, you'd just need rings and maybe rocks.

Petsmart will price match their online prices, just make sure that you take your copy of the webpage with you.

missibsu has that right. And if you do it right, you can even get the media price matched for cheaper too. Anything your going to get you can get for cheaper online. So just print out the pages. and you will be all set, they are real good about things.

Thanks for the comments! He was asking 300 for the tank and stand but got it for 250.00. The front and the doors are solid oak, the sides are oak vehner. The tank slide in from the back. The lower cabinet is three seperate boxes, with a shelf on the outside ones. The center has a couple of small slots for power cords, but I will be cutting a larger hole for the hoses for the filter.

Thanks for the comments. I need some help with the what lighting to use. The upper back is of the cabinet is open, and the thank only comes to the bottom of the upper cabinets. Wondering If I could mount some lights under the top of the cabinet over the backing area, and what type of fixture to use. I so want to get them into the bigger tank ASAP, but want to get it set up first. Thanks,

John
